We will have two hotels.  They are right next to each other and owned by the same company.

Both are very nice suite hotels.  Differences: At the Comfort Suites the beds are blocked so the cats cannot

get under them.  They also have a one time non-refundable pet fee of $15.00.

Directions to the Show Hotel:

From I-5 Northbound: Exit 234. At stop sign, turn right onto Knox Butte

Road. The Hotels will be on right hand side. From I-5 Southbound: Exit 234A. At stop sign, turn slight

right to light at Pacific Blvd., following Fair and Expo signs. Turn right at light and follow under I-5. The

Hotels will be on right hand side.

 

Show Hall:

Santiam Building at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center, 3700 Knox  Butte Road, Albany, OR

 

Directions to the Linn County Fair & Expo Center:

From I-5 Northbound: Exit 234. At stop sign, turn

right onto Knox Butte Road. From I-5 Southbound: Exit 234A. At stop sign, turn slight right to light at

Pacific Blvd., following Fair and Expo signs. Turn right at light and follow under I-5. Keep straight onto

Airport Rd SE. Turn right onto SR-99E.  Keep straight onto Knox Butte Rd.  It is right next to the hotels.

 

Show Hours:

Check-in will be from 8:00 – 8:45 AM Saturday and Sunday. Judging will begin at 9:00 AM on both days.

Advertised hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. Exhibitors must request permission from the

show manager to leave the show hall before the advertised closing time. Please get your cats to the rings

when they are called so we can get out on time.  Thank you.

 

Show Cages & Grooming Spaces:

A double cage is 21”x 21” x 45”, a single cage space and grooming spaces are both 21”x 21”x 21”.  One cat

or two kittens per single cage. If you want a double cage for a single entry, you must order it. We do have

single cages. Personal grooming tables will not be allowed to extend into the aisle. Cats entered for

competition with fees paid in full will be benched before entries to be paid at the door or exhibition/for sale

cats. All cages must be covered on the top, sides and bottom. Please respect your neighbors and the show

hall by keeping your benching area clean and free of offensive odors. Please keep the litter pans scooped.

We would like to be allowed to continue having shows at the EXPO Center.

 

Litter & Food:

Litter will be provided. Bring your cat food and water dishes and litter pan.  There will be people food sold

outside the show hall.

 

Health:

This is a non-vetted show. All entries must be in good health and have current vaccinations. Cats with a

suspected contagious illness, parasites, or fungus will be required to leave the show hall as per TICA Show

Rules. Cats from a cattery that has had a contagious or infectious illness within 21 days of this show will not

be allowed to enter the show hall. This is for the protection of all cats. ALL claws must be clipped prior to

benching.  Declawed cats may be shown in TICA.

 

Household Pets & Household Pet Kittens:

Household Pets who are between age 4 - 7 mos. of age will compete in the Household Pet Kitten class.

Household Pet Kittens must be 4 calendar months old to be shown. For this show, kittens must have been

born on or before November 1st, 2007. Household Pet Household Pets over the age of 8 mos. must be spayed

or neutered. Household Pet must be registered in TICA before their second show to collect their points

toward TICA titles and Regional and International wins. Kittens are not required to be registered.

 

Entry Fees:

Must be paid in U. S. funds. Please make checks payable to Sassy Katz Cat Club. PayPal is available at

somom8@aol.com. Fees are non-refundable after the closing date and must be paid even if the cat is absent.

A copy of the TICA Registration listing all owners must be sent with the entry for co-owned cats to be

eligible for a multi-cat discount.

Kittens must be 4 calendar months old to be shown. For this show, kittens must have been born on or before

November 1, 2007. 

 

Additional Fees:

Entry fees paid at the door - $25.00.  Substitution of entries: $10.00 each.    A charge of $35.00 plus bank

fees will be charged to returned checks.

Entries will not be benched until all fees have been paid in full!

 

Exhibition/For Sale:

A single cage is $30.00. You must have cats entered in competition.  Cats entered in the show will be

benched first. All cats in the show hall must be listed in the show catalog and be in a benching cage. Kittens

for sale must be 3 months of age. For this show kittens must have been born on or before December 1, 2007.

Please bring a copy of the TICA litter registration as proof of age.  The exhibitor who sold the cat/kitten

must accompany the new owner to the door with the cat/kitten and provide a copy of the sales slip to the

show management before the cat/kitten will be allowed to leave the show hall.

 

Ring Clerks & Stewards:

We need clerks and stewards. Clerks will be paid $35.00 plus lunch for a full day’s work. Stewards will be

paid $15.00 plus lunch for a full day.  Please indicate on the entry form if you would like to clerk or have a

child who would like to steward.

This show will be run in accordance with TICA Show Rules, Registration Rules, Standing Rules and
